Reese’s (of the cup variety)

Blogging can get boring.  As of now, I just do it to vent and nobody know’s this blog exists.  But let me say something.

I love Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

They’re delicious and I can’t get enough.  They should be like, the size of a beef pattie as far as I care.

9 minutes

I don’t know why, but the snooze button (which is very worn down from use) on my alarm clock gives me exactly 9 minutes of extra snoozing. I don’t understand why the manufacturer picked 9 minutes as the snooze time. Does that save me from being a whole ‘10’ minutes late to places?

Honestly, I would rather have a snooze alarm that is set to 5 minutes or 45 minutes. That way I’m either 5 minutes late somewhere or 45 minutes late. Go big or go home, right?

Anywho,

It’s official #3: Nobody makes good decisions in that grey area of the morning when you’re asleep and awake at the same time. I personally don’t ever remember hitting my snooze button in my entire life, but I’m sure that I have, because I’m often times 9 minutes late.

Adios Bravia!!!

In America, television has formatted our lives. We think of everything in terms of half hours and much like commercials, the little things that come up in our day that distract us from our main objectives become really annoying.

Since moving down to Texas, my wife and I have been forced to get the DishNetwork because the cable costs around here are ridiculous and the service is just as bad (suddenlink is terrible). The good news is that the Dish comes with DVR. If you don’t have DVR, you don’t have control of your life. It’s as simple as that. I can now record TV shows while I’m away doing things and then watch them whenever I want. It’s my life again, the TV doesn’t own me.

On another note, Kelly and I just took back our brand spanking new Sony Bravia. This 40” hunk of beautiful High Def LCD’ness was my new bestBravia BUT, there are only about 15 channels that come in high def, blu-ray DVD players are $388, blu-ray dvds are $30, and the icing on the cake is the lag that naturally occurs with any gaming system when it’s played on an HD TV.

Needless to say, the many neg’s far outweighed the pos’s so i drove down to Lubbock last night and returned it to Circuit City (which I didn’t even know existed anymore).

                                Adios my Bravia….adios.

It’s Official #2: From now on, I’m not going to get into the ‘game’ so early. Things like HD are trendy, but the technology is so new and few that it really doesn’t offer me and benefits. Remember all those people who bought DVD players when they first came out for like, $400…and now you can buy those at Wal-Mart for a nickel and a smile? Yeah, it’s official that I won’t be that sort of person ever.

Gimme a High Five….or else!

About making a blog

You may not realize this, but making a blog is a whole lot tougher than it looks.  I mean, it took a lot of time and effort and brainpower and patience to get one of my good friends to make a blog for me.  Do you understand how time conuming that is.  I probably spent the majority of my day having someone else do all the work.  And quite frankly, I’m exhausted.

It’s official #1: From now on, I’m going to specifically delegate someone who will be responsible for recruiting someone else to do all the work.  I mean, seriously, I can’t do everything around here!
